Biography

E.C. BRYSON JR., is a partner who has been engaged in defense litigation for more than thirty years. Over the past twenty years, Mr. Bryson's practice has been primarily devoted to the defense of all types of health care litigation. He has represented physicians in all medical and surgical specialties, dentists, nurses, as well as hospitals and medical group practices.

Mr. Bryson's trial practice involves all federal and state courts of the State of North Carolina and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. In addition, he appears in administrative hearings before the North Carolina Board of Medical Examiners, and medical and hospital boards.

Mr. Bryson received his Bachelor's Degree from Duke University and his Doctorate in Jurisprudence from the University of North Carolina. He is a frequent lecturer at medical and dental society meetings throughout the state and has been a guest lecturer at several national medical meetings on the subject of malpractice litigation.

In addition to holding memberships in all local, state and national bar associations, he is also a member of the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys, the International Association of Defense Attorneys, and the North Carolina Association of Hospital Attorneys. Mr. Bryson is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
